I/C’s should be paid on a mutually agreed settlement basis by SCI, who sends a consolidated bill to the Company.

Contractors submit invoices, which your company reviews for accuracy and then passes on to SCI for payment.

Routes can also be "competitively bid" by contractors for flat payment status

SCI I/C’s may negotiate an ad hoc special rate

I/C’s can delegate another to work for them, but they must also be SCI I/C’s or employees that have worker compensation insurance

No written rules or policies of the Company should be distributed or enforced

Thirty-day notice should be required for termination of the contract with the SCI I/C by either party.

In the event the I/C conducts his business in an unprofessional or unacceptable manner, the Company has the right to discontinue using said I/C’s services immediately.

I/C’s, as independent businesses, have the right to refuse any assignment

I/C’s must provide their own vehicle and insurance

I/C’s have the right to work for other companies

Routes, ad hoc specials, and / or ad hoc routes will be negotiated with an IC

I/C’s are responsible to offer delivery services that meet the clients’ needs, however, any timetable or route consistent with the clients’ needs must be acceptable to the I/C.

The Company must not engage in any activity that could be considered exercising "Direction and Control” by any government agency or court of law

Uniforms should not be required with the exception of requiring identification to enter the premises.

The I/C must be allowed to provide his or her own communication devices or they can lease them from the Company under a separate agreement

Any calls received from any state or federal agency regarding use of independent contractors leased from SCI should be immediately forwarded to SCI
